About us

VVMZ/Property Slovakia (VVMZ) is a Netherlands/Slovak independent real estate developer and consultant based in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia and part of VVMZ sro (www.vvmz.com). When starting is activities in 1993 VVMZ mostly worked on projects supported by the European Union, Worldbank, Netherlands and Slovak government and the EBRD.

Following the economic development in Slovakia VVMZ further developed its activities in real estate development and consulting, offering a complete range of services related to buying and managing of real estates in Slovakia.

• Under the “Investment” activities” VVMZ offers real estate investments and supports investors with finding quality investment projects such as existing office buildings and retail centers that are mostly rented out to quality tenants. However, VVMZ also supports investors in finding and (re)developing existing structures and as such add value.

• Under the “Development” activities VVMZ purchases the property from the landowner, often in close cooperation with external investors/financial partners, and then processes the entitlements and permits and develops and subsequently sells the project to (private) end-users or homebuilders. VVMZ and its investors/financial partners receive all the value that is added through the entitlement and development process. Typically these projects are larger land areas (between 5 to 20 hectares) for residential, industrial or recreational purpose that are bought and developed by VVMZ.

• Under the “Leisure” activities VVMZ supports municipalities and developers in structuring and developing their recreational activities. In some cases VVMZ can take over the management of the real estates and act as Property Manager.

In Slovakia VVMZ has a permanent staff of around 13 people including both Netherlands and Slovak professionals. Our Netherlands professionals are permanently based in Bratislava and have over 15 years of working experience in Slovakia.
